Brisingr - Eragon had lost his only weapon to his half brother who had betrayed him. He knew that he now needed to find a rider's sword to fight the evil king with. The sword maker had sworn an unbreakable oath to never make another sword with her two hands again, but as she looked at the determination and power of Eragon she decided to try. Using her magic she made the sword through Eragon's hands. Then it was done and she saw it was good. She had made the greatest sword and the sword that had the best chance of killing the king. (Adapted from the book Brisingr by Christopher Paolini)

Maybe we aren't meant to "kill the king," but we can work toward helping others to know Christ. The only way we can help others is by having God work through us as the sword maker did. He does good work through us and saves people. By making that sword through Eragon, the people had a hope of being free. God wants to work through us. He hears the pain and wants to help. Will we say, "Here I am Lord. Will you work through me?" Will you allow him to work through you? I hope your answer is yes.
