"We're following the leader, the leader, the leader, we're following the leader wherever he may go."

As we go through life, we label people whether we realize it or not. We name leaders and followers. Sometimes we strive to be the leader. Other times we just want to blend into the crowd. As the children of God, we are called to be followers and leaders. We must be followers of Christ. We also must follow the leaders that God appoints. We must follow the law unless it conflicts with the word of God. God also calls us to be leaders. We should lead where he tells us to lead. We need to be examples of Christ. We have to have a balance. If we always strive to be a leader then we will gain an ego and pride that will not be of God and we will want to control our lives by ourselves and end up making terrible mistakes. If we are always followers than we will blend into the crowd. God tells us we must stand out from the crowd. In both instances whether you are too much of a leader or too much of a follower you grow a wedge on your relationship with God. If we keep  our lives balanced we can have a better relationship with him. We must be a shepherd and the sheep.

God Bless!!!
